JONATHAN'S My name is Jonathan.
I was born with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). I have wounds all over my body and scars. I live my life in pain but through it all I am a happy boy who amazes my family daily. I have to endure long hours of bandage changes that hurt, but they are to help protect me. I have started to help my mom do my care but it is still a long a difficult procedure. One day it would be great to not have boo's boo's anymore.
Some of the things I enjoy doing is watching T.V., playing with trains, dancing, listening to music and reading. I am doing well in school and one of my favorite subjects is the planets. I am not able to do all the things other boys my age can do but I find things I can do that make me happy. Sometimes I know I am different but it does not stop me.
